A Quantum of Uncertainty – Jankin Decatur

In 2178 CE Captain Jankin Decatur fled the corruption and wars of Sol System to start a new life as a merchant captain in the colonial fleet of Kraken. The colony was a young, wild world that could have been a twin of Earth, a sister that never suffered the great extinction and radical climate variations of his birth planet. Kraken was a world of prosperity, freedom, and peace until the wars of their mother world carried to the colonies.

Forced by circumstance to join the armed forces of Kraken, Decatur now commands a colonial frigate starship and is tasked to transport a politician to the capital of Earth’s NAU to plea for protection and aid. They will have to pass through an entire star system at war and evade factions in their motherland who have sworn to stop them by any means.
